🎊 Can You Fly Dji Drone In Rain
Whether you're just starting or a seasoned pilot, the DJI Mini 4 Pro blends rich features into a sub-compact drone. I've been using it and love several things about it, but there's one thing I don't l
Drones Need An IP43 Rating To Fly In The Rain. For flying a drone in the rain, ideally, you should look for an IP rating of at least IP43. The “3” here means the drone is guarded against water spraying up to 60 degrees from vertical – roughly suitable for light rain. IP Rating Scale. Level of Protection Against Water.
Unfortunately the DJI Spark is not waterproof and should not be used in the rain. You might be able to fly it a few times in a light drizzle but all it takes is the wind blowing the wrong direction and you can seriously mess up your drone. There are actually very few drones that are waterproof or water resistant that you would be able to take
Always remember that the DJI Mini 2 operating temperature is 32° to 104°F (0° to 40°C). The Mini 2 controller can operate between 14° and 104°F (-10° and 40°C). Wear touchscreen gloves to keep your hands warm when flying. Hover the drone for a while when operating at temperatures that range from 32° to 41°F (0° to 5°C).
In my experience, the DJI Mini 2 can fly well under -10°C ( 14°F), and some people reported going down to -20°C (-4°F) successfully. If you're flying in such cold temperatures with the Mavic Mini or Mini 2, there's a big chance a cold temp warning will appear on the screen. From personal experience, I strongly recommend you not to go under
If you are traveling to Greece from a non-EU country and haven’t flown a drone before in any EU country, you must register as an OPERATOR before you can fly your drone in Greece. You can register with the HCAA by sending an email to d2d@hcaa.gr. For more information about registering as a non-EU resident, see this document from the HCAA.
Can you fly the Mavic 3 in rain? You could theoretically fly your drone in slight rain but be prepared for potential damage since the drone isn’t waterproof. The same is true for most DJI drones. But you can mitigate the amount of water that gets into it by waterproofing it using the methods I’ll discuss further down.

The majority of drone manufacturers are advising to keep drones between temperatures of 32°F and 104°F (which is 0°C to 40°C). Too cold for the drone battery. Using your drone in too cold weather can have several negative effects. The chemical reactions are getting slower, which will result in lower capacity even at DJI lithium batteries.
Newish FAA Drone Pilot here, all of my flying so far has always been outside controlled air space and no authorization needed. Before I was an FAA drone pilot I went to go fly the drone, Mavic 2 Pro in a parking lot just to 25 feet to see the top of a one story building, and it would not let me take off. I apparently was in controlled air space.
You should be fine in the snow , however if your going to want to be able to fly in the snow without any worry to the drone or the Battery or the Power button you should consider getting the Wet Suit for your drone. Flying in the Snow can be the most fun you have with your drone.
As always, DJI offers multiple purchasing options for the DJI Mini 4 Pro. You can choose a Fly More Combo, which comes with two spare batteries, a 3-bay charger and a carrying case, or a standard
