A selection of diesel and petrol engines are available with the Tourneo Connect. These come in the form of two petrol engines, a 98bhp 1.0-litre and a 147bhp 1.6-litre, along with two diesel engines, a 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre. The diesel engines are available with varying power outputs, between 93bhp and 118bhp.

Seven passengers can fit into the Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, but they might feel a bit pinched for space. And because of the seven seats, the boot suffers as a result, with 1,264-litres on offer if you fold the rear seats. Visibility is good owing to some massive windows, whilst buyers can get their hands on a rear parking camera as an option
Gripes: Large tailgate needs lots of space before it can be opened fully. Five-seat car's rear seats don't fold completely out of the way. Low power diesel's performance only adequate when car is fully loaded. Can't match conventional people carriers for overall cabin ambience.
